Be Still! Rejoice! He is God!

Break out into singing all you children of the Jehovah Sabaoth! Be still! Rejoice! He is God! He is exalted among the nations! He is exalted in the earth! Be still! Rejoice!

Yesterday, I was taken aback by a post in facebook. On the post was one of our church’s original songs entitled, “Purihin Pangalan Niya” (personal translation: Praise His Name) and who originally composed it. What surprised me was that it was composed by the youth of Hope Tacloban in Philippines as a thanksgiving song after these youth and their families where transferred to their new houses whilst Typhoon Yolanda was wreaking dire havoc. The song is well loved as its lyrics and tempo will bring about singing and dancing full of joy and praises to God.

Such a timely reminder, as today Strait Times reported 7 new cases of the 2019 nCOV infection here in Singapore. Some cases are near home which whispered much fear in my heart. At the same time, the words, “Be still and know that I am God.” lingered in my mind. Looking for more comfort, I read through the whole chapter of Psalm 46:

“God is our refuge and strength,
A[a] very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the [b]midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the [c]tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be [d]moved;
God shall help her, just [e]at the break of dawn.
The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah”

What an encouragement from the LORD! He is our refuge and strength! He is always present and He will help in any trouble whether it was earthquakes, crumbling mountains or roaring oceans. He gives us an assurance that He is always with His children. He is powerful and sovereign above it all even when nations are in chaos and kingdoms crumble. Desolation and wars aren’t something He is unconscious of, but rather, in His wisdom and judgement, His works. He is Jehovah Sabaoth, Lord of Hosts and He is with us! What do we need to do? Do we fear? Do we panic? Do we give in to defeat? No! We need to be still and know that He is God! Our God, the Lord of the Heavenly Armies! Again, we need to be still and know He is God! The God who doesn’t change! Whose faithfulness and mercies cover a thousand generations!

Somehow, I understood how those youth from Tacloban were able to compose such a wonderful song of praise amidst much lost and sorrow. The typhoon may have taken their homes, but the LORD God have provided new homes for them. From the provision God rendered to them comes a quiet confidence that He was with them during the storm, their very present help in that trouble, thereby yielding a song full of rejoicing!  Truly, His name is worthy of highest praises!

So instead of being discouraged of this rising number of 2019 n-COV infection, I pray that we stand firm, not letting fear seize our hearts. Instead, we hold our ground and continue to believe that our LORD God is the God Almighty above all things! No matter how this outbreak unfolds, God is God! Break out into singing all you children of the Jehovah Sabaoth! Be still! Rejoice! He is God! He is exalted among the nations! He is exalted in the earth! Be still! Rejoice!

If you would like to have this stillness in Jehovah Sabaoth through Jesus Christ is, I greatly and lovingly encourage you to click this.

Romans 8:28 (Part 2)

Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
28 And we know that all things work together
for good to those who love God,
to those who are the called
according to His purpose.

Let’s get back to the rest of this wonderful promise!

for good.

Now here, most people have many misconceptions. When we think of our good, we think of our benefit, our convenience. But most of us don’t even have a slightest clue on what is good or if it will turn out to be for our good. It’s like when I buy clothing. I usually buy something because it looks nice on display and I think it would look nice on me. I put it on and test it in inside the fitting room and sees that my decision to buy it is correct. When I wear it to an event, that’s when I would unfortunately realize that it is too fitted or too big or have a too deep neckline or the straps are falling off my shoulders or even the fabric is too sheer which is a big disaster. It’s like when I buy heels that make my legs look slimmer and sexier and ended up arguing with the same heels and throwing them out because of the many many blisters it gave my feet all the time I wear them (true story btw).

The truth is we don’t know what is good for us. We are completely ignorant of what will give us the greatest benefit. We desire for a lot of things thinking they will be good for us. We think that we know better when in both sides of reality, only God does as He is omniscient. The only way we can be assured that what we choose will be for our good is only if it is in line with His will. Not something pleasing to the eyes, not something other people said is good, but because it is His will.

Then what if I mistakenly or intentionally go against His will? We, the children of God, the eternally secured in Christ. In these times when we become wayward, He, as omnipotent and sovereign as He is, is still able to change and fix things up, not His will, but all things around it, including us, so that we will realize that we are going the wrong way. He will let us undergo a very very painful learning process, which we can actually avoid, until we surrender and say “Thy will be done” because He knows it will be for our good. In time, when mature in our walk with Him, He will enable us not to live our lives according to our will but according to His.

to those who love God.

Well this promise is for everyone who loves God and entrusted their lives solely unto Him through faith in the salvation and lordship of Christ Jesus. We cannot simply say that we love God and go on with our lives.

The Bible says in Matthew 22:37-38 says, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.” Loving God demands our everything: our heart, our soul and our mind. He is to be our greatest treasure, cherished and delighted into, desired above everything else. (See the article: A Treasure Found).

This will only be possible once we received Jesus in our lives as our Lord and Savior (here is how). The reason behind it is it is impossible to treat God as your most treasured possession as humans. Humans, because of our sins, cannot come before a Holy God. In ourselves alone, our eyes are veiled and blinded from the beauty of His grace and love in Christ Jesus. We maybe able to see and know God the Father but it will extremely difficult to obey Him and surrender unto Him if we rely only our own. We all are sinful by our innate nature, selfish and foolish beings in rebellion who think highly only of ourselves and want to take control of our own lives and would never relinquish it to anyone else.

But once we repent of our sins and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we become born again and a new creation. We will have Christ living in us through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.  Now with Jesus living in us and convicting us through the Holy Spirit, we will be able to really treasure God for who He is whom is above everything else just like Jesus did. We will desire for God and a deeper intimacy for Him. We will  be able to keep His commandments because we love Him through us abiding in Christ.

to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Lastly, we, the beloved children of God, are here on earth not just to enjoy the blessings of the abundant life He bestows upon us but we are the called according to His purpose. His purpose is not according to our terms and condition but His terms which is for us to be  transformed from glory to glory and become Christ-like. We are to be changed and conformed to the image of Christ. Why is that?

Christ as we all know is God-incarnate, the image of God. He is the greatest manifestation and revelation of God’s love for the world. As John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” God willingly gave Jesus up for the undeserving world to save us from our sins because of His love. Jesus willingly died as His obedience to the Father. As a result, we who received Him will have eternal life. Jesus is the glory of the grace of God.

When we are transformed to the likeness of Christ, we will be  able to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. God’s love will have a physical vessel in this cruel world, us loving other people thorough Christ. Just as Jesus laid down His life  for us, in Christ, we are enabled to selflessly and lovingly lay down our lives for all sorts of people all over the world. We can be a poured out wine and broken bread with joy as we grasp God’s purpose for our Christ-likeness reveals His heart: His glorious outrageous love for people and the world.

I pray that whenever we are reminded of this marvelous promise God has for us we will really use it to convict us and direct us on the great truth it contains. May we be able to believe in our hearts that:

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

Romans 8:28 (Part 1)

Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
28 And we know that all things work together
for good to those who love God,
to those who are the called
according to His purpose.

One of the most loved verses in the Bible, this promise offers such comfort to believers everywhere. It gives us an assurance that everything that happens in our lives, especially the hard and difficult times, will be used by God for our good and His glory. But I wonder how much truth do we really understand regarding this passage. Let’s slowly take it apart and learn more.

And.

The preceding verses of this part of Romans 8 talks about the suffering that we, believers, have to endure at present (Romans 8:18) and the bondage of corruption that the creation is now temporarily captive of (Romans 8:21). Along with these are our responses to these suffering and bondage, that we, ourselves and the whole creation, groan and long to be delivered from it and let the glory in us be finally revealed (Romans 8:18-23). Now the next verses come with the promises of hope, perseverance and help from the Holy Spirit through intercession (Romans 8:24-27) where our verse comes next as an addition and a conclusion.

Yes, we will have tribulations in this life that we need to endure. Yes, we will long to be set free from the evil that our innate human nature has. We will experience pain and suffering, failures and setbacks. But God promises us His comfort amidst all these. He promises hope in Him as we persevere and eagerly wait on Him. God promises that the Helper, the Holy Spirit that iswill aid us through rough and confusing times when we do not know what to pray for and even how to pray anymore. And lastly, He promises that all that we will go thru will be used by Him.

we know that.

To know in a sense is to have the possession of a certain truth, fact, or knowledge as Merriam Webster defines it and most people superficially perceive it as only that. To know is to be informed. But actually, to know goes beyond getting the information. To know means having direct cognition, awareness and understanding of the information given, also as defined by Merriam-Webster. The mind should be able to process and digest the information through the use of our senses. The information will not be left as it is but it will create something inside of the receiver and be utilized and manifested outwardly. It isn’t something of mere passive receiving. It has to be something that is actively perceiving.

Having said that, this promise that we have in Romans 8:28 should not be just a mere fact or information we know about God, like “Oh, I know God is like this and that; I know He also will do this and that”, but it should be an unshakable rock where our faith and trust in His character as our God should be deeply rooted. This amazing truth should manifest in our daily lives: how we interact with people, how we face challenges, how we fight sin and the battles within ourselves, how we make choices and decisions wherever we maybe. These actions proves that we have a great understanding and perception of who God is in our lives and what He is capable to do.

all things.

Ah! This one made me smile. Usually when we read this part, we right away think of good and bad things. We think of the comfort and pain we have in this life, our successes and defeats, health and sickness, blessings and afflictions, joys and sorrows. But we should not limit it with these.

When the Apostle Paul said “all things“, he really meant it. It includes the big and small events in our lives, from the smallest decision we make to hardest choice we have to choose. Even the things that we think are unnoticeable and insignificant, the implications of our actions, well, God includes that as well.

It also includes the times we reluctantly disobey God due to fear and doubt and also the times we surrendered and willingly  obey Him.

It includes all sorts of people we meet and know and may it be for a few seconds or a few hours or days everywhere.

It includes our past, present and our future.

It even includes the places we have been thru. The sights we have seen. The experiences we have.

It includes our hopes and dreams, our failures and nightmares.

It includes all things my finite mind can think of and cannot think of anymore.

All these things are not out of God’s self-indulgence or compulsion or ignorance. God, with all His infinite wisdom, will have all these things used by Him and not be wasted. All things.

work together.

And everything listed up will work together! HUH?! Really??? Even the times when I failed Him because I cheated? Even the times I got angry and hurt someone? Even when I deliberately disobeyed Him? I mean good and wonderful things, when combine, are meant to produce good and wonderful results. We get that. But to add the bad things, the sour things, the bitter things, even the evil, ugly, gruesome, scary and dirty things? Oh Yes! It’s like God making a delicious meal with a recipe including all that we are and all that we have. Adding mud and manure to sugar and cream! Only He, in His awesome power and infinite wisdom, can mix everything together, no exclusions, and make everything work together in harmony to produce a delightful taste!

The Power of the Cross

❤️For the message of the CROSS is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the POWER OF GOD.

1 Corinthians 1:18 NIV❤️

The power of the cross is the power of God for those who believes. For some that they do not understand the meaning of the cross. For it is written,

I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate. ( 1 Corinthians 1:19)

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 1:20‭-‬31 NIV

No Longer Slaves to Fear. I am a CHILD of GOD!

Romans 8:15

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:15 NLT

I have found my journal. A journal that is different from my normal journal with writings of my messages to God and His message to me. In this journal, I had compiled His promises in a form of drawings or sketch or what you could say it as an art (whatever 😂😉😳).

I found this verse in one of the pages

I love this verse. I love it the most when I understood it intently. God position us to the safe place, the moment we believe that He raised Jesus Christ from the dead. We are released from God’s wrath.

At the cross, Jesus took our infirmities; Jesus took our condemnation; Jesus took our sicknesses and diseases. Jesus redeemed us and saved us from our sins. He delivers us. Jesus is the main bridge for us to call God our Abba (Father).

Because of Jesus obedience we can live the life that is full of grace. The Grace which everyone is undeserved to possess it.

But God is a gracious God. His goodness is can not be measured. His intelligence is can not be fathomed. He is the Sovereign God.

He had given us the sonship through Christ Jesus. What a privilege to have that.

Let He be a Father to you. A Father who will do everything for His son own good sake. A Father who is so generous when you ask. A Father who is so so good. Because that is who He is!

God’s Final Word: His Son – His Joy!

Have you ever felt the same, when you finished reading 1 book in the Bible and yet you still want to continue reading one book which the Spirit prompting you to start reading? Once you start, you can’t stop!

I believe there are people here who feel the same way as mine. O, BTW, it is good suggestion to read Bible reading aside of you alone, is with the group. AND this how “Build Life Together through the Gospel” was born.

It is a group of women who passionately wants to seek the Word of God in the same vision and spirits. To spur one another with Spirit had gifted each one of them. Believing with the revelation from God to each and everyone; had to be shared and be encouraged as an inspiration to everyone.

As we spur one another, we will do the same to other women surrounds us and will do the same for His Kingdom to build life through the Gospel. It started with three and now we are seven and will continue to count more in Jesus’ name!

We had finished reading the book of Romans that inspired us to read because of the book of Acts. Now that we had finished Romans and so the prompting is to read the book of Hebrews. Let us not be legalistic here, these women are not Theologians but Inspired to kick their spirits from a slumber and had the wick of the fire to put fan to flame of which the Spirit had put in their hearts.

The beginning of Hebrews chapter one is God’s Final Word: His Son (NIV)

Reading this chapter without the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit will lead you to a boring story. At glance it is a repeated story or re-telling by the Author of this book of which whom he emphasized that Jesus is the ultimate and Superior above them all– the Angels.

Hebrews 1:3

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful Word. “

In verses 5-9 is the Son Superior to Angels.

For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father” ? Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son” ? And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.” In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.” But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.” – Hebrews 1:5‭-‬9 NIV

And to this my heart leaped with Joy!

In verse 9b says “your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of Joy.

Jesus is the ultimate JOY that we could ever had. It sums up the total need of our being to survive in this fallen world.

The JOY that speaks of our COMFORT.

The JOY that speaks of our PEACE.

The JOY that speaks of our REST.

The JOY that speaks of our SATISFACTION.

The JOY that speaks of our CONTENTMENT.

The JOY that speaks of our HEALING.

The JOY that speaks of our DELIVERANCE.

The JOY that is unexplainable and unspeakable and He is JESUS.

This chapter speaks only one thing.

The JOY that is lacking in your life that created void in your heart will be filled through if you will know JESUS.

He offers a relationship and Not a religion that lead to Salvation.

Nothing else we could ever has this kind of JOY to someone else’s but only from JESUS.

Now for you who are reading this article. It is not an accident that you read this untill this point. There is a purpose and reason why you hop upon this page and make time to read.

Jesus wanting to have a relationship with you. If you are willing from your heart. We will invite you in a small prayer. Prayer is not a magic but it means that we are talking to God. Click Salvation to lead you in this prayer of Salvation and to understand who is Jesus to your life.

JESUS LOVES YOU!

.The Temptation of Jesus.

“Let us learn on Jesus ways on how he resisted temptation. He soak, fill and saturate. Early in the morning he will wake up to devote his time to the Lord. He will fast for him to regain the zeal of his commitment to do the will of God to him and to draw near to God.

Let us follow Jesus ways! Let he be our role model to resist temptation in this world.”

Matthew 4:1-11 NLT

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’ ” Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’ ” Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’ ” Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.

When we are in this kind of situation, how is our respond will be like?

In the Scripture, Jesus was being tempted after he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. As human he was very hungry. His flesh was weak. Fragile — easy to break and need a rest and food to refuel it.

But his Spirit was full. He had God’s fullness at this time as he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. His Spirit was high with God almighty.

As tempter tempted him, first, he tempted his weakness— his flesh — his hunger. But Jesus thrown the tempter a Scripture “People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Second, the temper tempted Jesus through his sound mind. “Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’ ” Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’

Third, the tempter tempted Jesus through the lust of the eyes. “Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”

Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus. Matthew 4:11

How are we able to be like Jesus? Resisting the temptation in this fallen world?

We should be like Jesus! We must understand that in this Scripture, Jesus was still human. He had his weaknesses as well, but he resisted it.

How he can resist it? He resisted it by

  1. SOAK. Soaking his Spirit in the presence of God. The Bible said in Psalm 91:1 ” Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. Psalm 91:1‭, ‬3 NIV – The Devil will first target our weakness. But he know nuts! He thought that Jesus can fall as prey. The things that he was not aware was Jesus’ Spirit was strengthened and communing to God at that very moment. “In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;” – Romans 8:26. Knowing that  God is already protecting Jesus at that very moment.
  2. FILL. Filling and knowing the Scripture by Heart. After Jesus was not tempted his weakness. The devil’s second target was his sound mind. Li’l did he know that Jesus is guarding his heart with the words of God. Jesus guarded his heart by believing the truth of the Word by heart. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Jesus’ heart was saturated with Word of God and as in everything we do it flows from our heart. Jesus’ heart was so strong as he had fasted because God made it strong and full of wisdom that directs and flows to his mind not to be warped by this world.
  3. SATURATE his Focus. Knowing where your heart is there your treasure is also. Jesus knows where is his treasure is. He knows his kingdom is not in this world but in the heavenly kingdom that the Lord is preparing for him. “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19‭-‬21 NIV . Jesus knows by heart and mind that his kingdom was not in this world. He can never be deceived by this world’s deceiving glory. He set his focus in mind and heart to heavenly treasure.

Let us learn on Jesus’ ways on how he resisted temptation. He soak, fill and saturate. Early in the morning he will wake up to devote his time to the Lord. He will fast for him to regain the zeal of his commitment to do the will of God to him and to draw near to God.

Let us follow Jesus’ ways! Let he be our role model to resist temptation in this world. We need to have God’s fullness in our life daily!

LIFE through CHRIST!

Because of Jesus’ obedience, we are saved. We are spared from God’s wrath. Only thing we need to do is to “believe” and to have faith in His blood that shed on the cross.

Now, by believing in Him, we will have Eternal Life (John 3:16). This is the Life that we have through CHRIST.

IMG_20171025_132015_796_wm
Romans 6:23 & Romans 5:17

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. –Romans 6:23 NIV

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! –Romans 5:17 NIV

How wonderful and amazing the Love of God is to us. When we, humans are created, His main purpose is for humans to worship Him. Now, we all know that worship is vague– vague in its description, whether in acts, deeds or words, but main result or end goal is — to give God glory.

Since in the beginning, we are good and pleasant in the eyes of God as we are created in His own image and likeness (Gen 1:27). We are His masterpiece. He was so happy of our creation. It was all very good in His eyesight (Gen 1:31). Well in fact, because he was satisfied –He rested on the seventh day (Gen 2:2).

As we read Genesis, we can see that we are created out of Love, Passion and Determination.  When the “fall of man” came into picture because of disobedience (Gen 3), sin came to destroy our relationship to God — Our “nearness” to God blocked by sin — we are condemned! God’s wrath is upon us. We are dead.

For thousands of years, we are doomed to hell as sin reigned in this fallen world. But because of we are created out of God’s great Love, His faithfulness supersede. He made it possible for us to be lift up from God’s wrath and condemnation.

He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus (John 3:16).

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

John 3:16‭-‬18 NIV

God made it easy and possible for us, to have our relationship to Him back

Because of Jesus’ obedience, we are saved. We are spared from God’s wrath. Only thing we need to do is to “believe” and to have faith in His blood that shed on the cross.

Now, by believing in Him, we will have Eternal Life (John 3:16). This is the Life that we have through CHRIST.

Jesus Christ paid the price that we need to pay. All because of God’s Great Love, Grace is given. For us to have Life through CHRIST!

All glory to God!💖

:A PROMISE of a FULL LIFE Span:

A promised of Full Life Span through CHRIST JESUS!

Exodus 23:25-27

I love these verses in different versions in the Bible. It is so profound. It sums up how important  are we to our God; and the purpose of our creation.

Here I quote from 2 Bible versions – NKJV and NIV

“So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

Exodus 23:25‭-‬27 NKJV

Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.  “I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.

Exodus 23:25‭-‬27 NIV

The promise of Full Life Span is given to the Israelites in the Old Testament. This is God’s instructions to Moses to tell the Israelites and make it known and understand it well.

God’s promises are a like a compensation and benefits in the business firm or company. If I will put it in employment’s context. It is full package. Before you sign the contract, you will agree on how many hours you will work per week and how much salary it will compensate you.

It also comes with the benefits on signing on the agreement — entitlement on Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Maternity Leave, 13th-month pay and Variable Bonus. This is not based on the condition of the company’s performance in profit.  All these you will receive.

In a simple Employment Contract for Exodus 23:2527 into today’s context it will go like this:

Appointment Letter: Child of God

Working Statutes: Worship God Alone

Salary : Bread and Water

Benefits:

  • Full Life Span
  • NO Sickness
  • NO Miscarriage
  • NO Barrenness

Bonus:

  1. God’s wrath is against your enemies

  2. Our enemies will run from us.

Signed by: You

CONFORME: GOD

—————————————-

It will look like this, probably. You will take hold and precious to it. Because it keeps promises to your employment.

Now that we are living in the New Covenant. The Salary, Benefits and Bonus in Exodus 23:25-27 are God’s Promises that sums up to a one person —JESUS.

Here how it is:

  1. JESUS is the promised Bread and Water of God. — Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. -John 6:35 NIV
  2. JESUS is the promised Full Life Span — For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. —John 3:16 NIV
  3. JESUS bore our sicknesses and diseases — This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” – Matthew 8:17 NIV (Isa. 53:4)
  4. JESUS takes NO Barrenness but fruitfulness in Him. —You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you – John 15:16
  5. JESUS takes God’s wrath who believes in Him. –The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
    John 3:35‭-‬36 NIV

God’s Love Is Unfailing. His Promise Is Unshaken.

With all these “compensation and benefits”  —The promised of Full Life Span, we will have it here on earth and to eternal life, if we will genuinely believe through faith in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:22)
