Romans 8:28 (NKJV) 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Let’s get back to the rest of this wonderful promise! for good. Now here, most people have many misconceptions. When we think of our good, we think…
HIS BELOVED SON.
HIS BELOVED DAUGHTER.
❤️For the message of the CROSS is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the POWER OF GOD. 1 Corinthians 1:18 NIV❤️ The power of the cross is the power of God for those who believes. For some that they do not understand the meaning of the…
Because through the process, the Lord is with us. Though the process, in our ups and down, the Lord is with us. Through the process, on our bumpy road, the Lord is with us!
His promise is true!
His promise is perfect!
His promise is sovereign!
His promise is irrevocable!
A personal experience has inspired me in writing this blog. When I was in grade school, I was often bullied so I tried to fit in and be a 'somehow' bully-type student. This continues until secondary school, subconsciously until I reached my university days. I carried this until my first job in Philippines, I was working like I was competing for superb applause and praise from the people around me. I even came to the point where I skip lunch just to accomplish a deadline, seeking for pleasing recognition from my immediate supervisor. But when I met Jesus, He showed me that I was indeed created perfectly by God. That no one can turn me down, I am His son, I am precious, I am chosen! Daily revelations from God by meditating in His words have given me clear directions where to put my focus, energy, resources and time.
First, we need to understand the meaning of the Great Cross Exchange.
The Cross, the New Covenant was cut and an important exchange took place. Jesus took our sin and all the bad we deserved, so that we could have all His good!
Jesus was perfectly good. He obeyed all of God's laws completely. So He deserved all God's blessings. We were sinners. We couldn't obey God's laws completely. And we deserved punishment and death, so we can have all of His blessings.
Because of His Great Love, God reconciled His fellowship with humans (believers) with the New Covenant
