The Power of the Cross

❤️For the message of the CROSS is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the POWER OF GOD.

1 Corinthians 1:18 NIV❤️

The power of the cross is the power of God for those who believes. For some that they do not understand the meaning of the cross. For it is written,

I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate. ( 1 Corinthians 1:19)

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 1:20‭-‬31 NIV

Learn through the PROCESS

Because through the process, the Lord is with us. Though the process, in our ups and down, the Lord is with us. Through the process, on our bumpy road, the Lord is with us!

His promise is true!

His promise is perfect!

His promise is sovereign!

His promise is irrevocable!

Whomever are Christians here believes that we are Victorious in Jesus. In fact that is true. We believe because of our faith.

Our life our secured. We are set apart. We are justified. We are glorified. This is the promise the Lord our God had bestowed upon to those who believes in His Son Jesus Christ and are saved, that’s John 3:16 had emphasized.

However, the promise of Victory is the end result. The Bible does not tells us that we will have a smooth sailing life while we are still here on earth.

The promise in Jeremiah 29:11 of plan to prosper us and not to harm us is true and for our own good sake, but it does not constitute that everything will be straight and easy for us.

How about in times of we look forward to victories and triumphs in our life but it doesn’t happen the way we want it to be? Perhaps, we have disappointments. Anger. Hatred. Sadness. It will start to move down. Temporarily, you will stun and ask yourself, why? What happened?

That’s normal. We are still human.

Don’t fret. The promise is still powerful! We are still victorious and triumphants through Christ Jesus!

But how are we able to avoid these disappointments, anger, hatred, sadness if it doesn’t go on the way we want it to be? And this what the Lord had revealed to me … ENJOY THE PROCESS, LEARN THROUGH THE PROCESS!

His message for 2019

Because through the process, the Lord is with us. Though the process, in our ups and down, the Lord is with us. Through the process, on our bumpy road, the Lord is with us!

His promise is true!

His promise is perfect!

His promise is sovereign!

His promise is irrevocable!

Because what the Scripture says that

Deutorony 31:8

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Isaiah 41:10-13

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the Lordyour God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”

So therefore, during the process let us enjoy it. During the process let us learn through it because He is IMMANUEL even through the PROCESS!!!

God’s Final Word: His Son – His Joy!

Have you ever felt the same, when you finished reading 1 book in the Bible and yet you still want to continue reading one book which the Spirit prompting you to start reading? Once you start, you can’t stop!

I believe there are people here who feel the same way as mine. O, BTW, it is good suggestion to read Bible reading aside of you alone, is with the group. AND this how “Build Life Together through the Gospel” was born.

It is a group of women who passionately wants to seek the Word of God in the same vision and spirits. To spur one another with Spirit had gifted each one of them. Believing with the revelation from God to each and everyone; had to be shared and be encouraged as an inspiration to everyone.

As we spur one another, we will do the same to other women surrounds us and will do the same for His Kingdom to build life through the Gospel. It started with three and now we are seven and will continue to count more in Jesus’ name!

We had finished reading the book of Romans that inspired us to read because of the book of Acts. Now that we had finished Romans and so the prompting is to read the book of Hebrews. Let us not be legalistic here, these women are not Theologians but Inspired to kick their spirits from a slumber and had the wick of the fire to put fan to flame of which the Spirit had put in their hearts.

The beginning of Hebrews chapter one is God’s Final Word: His Son (NIV)

Reading this chapter without the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit will lead you to a boring story. At glance it is a repeated story or re-telling by the Author of this book of which whom he emphasized that Jesus is the ultimate and Superior above them all– the Angels.

Hebrews 1:3

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful Word. “

In verses 5-9 is the Son Superior to Angels.

For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father” ? Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son” ? And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.” In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.” But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.” – Hebrews 1:5‭-‬9 NIV

And to this my heart leaped with Joy!

In verse 9b says “your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of Joy.

Jesus is the ultimate JOY that we could ever had. It sums up the total need of our being to survive in this fallen world.

The JOY that speaks of our COMFORT.

The JOY that speaks of our PEACE.

The JOY that speaks of our REST.

The JOY that speaks of our SATISFACTION.

The JOY that speaks of our CONTENTMENT.

The JOY that speaks of our HEALING.

The JOY that speaks of our DELIVERANCE.

The JOY that is unexplainable and unspeakable and He is JESUS.

This chapter speaks only one thing.

The JOY that is lacking in your life that created void in your heart will be filled through if you will know JESUS.

He offers a relationship and Not a religion that lead to Salvation.

Nothing else we could ever has this kind of JOY to someone else’s but only from JESUS.

Now for you who are reading this article. It is not an accident that you read this untill this point. There is a purpose and reason why you hop upon this page and make time to read.

Jesus wanting to have a relationship with you. If you are willing from your heart. We will invite you in a small prayer. Prayer is not a magic but it means that we are talking to God. Click Salvation to lead you in this prayer of Salvation and to understand who is Jesus to your life.

JESUS LOVES YOU!

None like King Hezekiah (Part 1)

hezekiah

Bible passages: 2 Kings 18-20, 2 Chronicles 29-32, Isaiah 36-39

*All Bible passages used are in NKJV

King Hezekiah, son of King Ahaz and Abijah, daughter of Zechariah, was the 13th king of Judah and the king who “did what was right, good and true in the sight of the LORD, according to all that His father David done” (2 Kings 18:3, 2 Chronicles 31:20) like some kings of Israel and Judah. I, as a kid, have known him for having an additional 15 years of life given to him by God when He prayed to God for his sickness (2 Kings 20:6) but never did I know that he was regarded as the king like no other.

2 Kings 18:5 says:

He trusted in the LORD God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him..

He must have been quite a king to be regarded as such! The king who trusted God that no king before and after him was like him.  Let’s look at some characteristics of King Hezekiah:

  1. He was zealous for the restoration of both Judah’s and Israel’s relationship to the LORD God.  2 Chronicles 18:3-5 says:

In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the LORD and repaired them.  Then he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them in the East Square, and said to them: “Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place.

His first order of business as king was seeking God by cleansing God’s temple and urging the Levites to purify themselves before God. He unashamedly admitted before his people about the trespasses their fathers made before God by turning their backs from Him and forsaking Him that brought upon the wrath of God. He urged his people to come back to God as they were chosen by Him, as 2 Chronicles 18:11 says:

My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense.

This king wasn’t afraid to admit their transgressions before God but instead he humbled himself and repented and then urged his people to do the same. He made them remember that they, the Levites, were chosen by God with a specific purpose for Him. After repenting and cleansing themselves, they worked on cleansing the temple, as 2 Chronicles 18:16 says,

Then the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD to cleanse it, and brought out all the debris that they found in the temple of the LORD to the court of the house of the LORD.

2 Kings 18:4 mentioned specifically that he abolished the pagan idols that the Israelites used to worship:

He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan.

King Hezekiah led and commanded his people to worship only one God, “the LORD of hosts, the God of all the kingdoms of the earth who made heaven and earth” (Isaiah 37:16).

    2 Chronicles 29:29-30 says:

29 And when they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed and worshiped.30 Moreover King Hezekiah and the leaders commanded the Levites to sing praise to the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped

He even urged all Israel to seek God as 2 Chronicles 30:1 says:

And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and also wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to the LORD God of Israel.

King Hezekiah recognized that knew seeking God and restoring their relationship with Him as one nation was of utmost importance and should be his foremost priority.

2. He diligently  and whole-heartedly obeyed God which resulted to prosperity and favor.

2 Kings 18:6 says:

For he held fast to the LORD; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses. The LORD was with him; he prospered wherever he went.

Moreover, 2 Chronicles 31:21 adds:

21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.

Throughout his life, King Hezekiah was faithful in every work that he did for God and served God with all his heart. He and his people honored the LORD through worship, burnt offerings, devotions to the law of the LORD and the giving of “firstfruits of grain and wine, oil and honey, and of all the produce of the field”          (2 Chronicles 31:5). This was rewarded by God by blessing his kingdom.  King Hezekiah saw this great abundance as it says in 2 Chronicles 31:9:

Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.10 And Azariah the chief priest, from the house of Zadok, answered him and said, “Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord, we have had enough to eat and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed His people; and what is left is this great abundance.”

The people gathered the grain for four months. Before this, grains were already taken by the priests as tithes and offerings dedicated to the LORD and by the people of Judah as provisions for their families. Still after all were full, the left overs were still great in amount!

King Hezekiah had the favor of God and with it came the favor of men. As it says in 2 Chronicles 30:11-12:

11 Nevertheless some from Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem. 12 Also the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the LORD.

When the king sent letters to urge people all throughout Israel to come to Jerusalem to worship and keep the passover, some laughed and mocked at the runners carrying these letters (2 Chronicles 30:10). But God’s hand was upon the tribes of Asher, Manasseh, Zebulun and of course, Judah. He touched the nation of Judah that all obeyed, as one and with the singleness of heart, the command of the king and observed the passover. God blessed the feast with great joy and with a great number of people as 2 Chronicles 30:25-16 says:

25 The whole assembly of Judah rejoiced, also the priests and Levites, all the assembly that came from Israel, the sojourners who came from the land of Israel, and those who dwelt in Judah. 26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem.

Abundance in grain, people, favor and joy! An overflowing abundance indeed!

Stay tuned for Part 2!

LIFE through CHRIST!

Because of Jesus’ obedience, we are saved. We are spared from God’s wrath. Only thing we need to do is to “believe” and to have faith in His blood that shed on the cross.

Now, by believing in Him, we will have Eternal Life (John 3:16). This is the Life that we have through CHRIST.

IMG_20171025_132015_796_wm
Romans 6:23 & Romans 5:17

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. –Romans 6:23 NIV

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! –Romans 5:17 NIV

How wonderful and amazing the Love of God is to us. When we, humans are created, His main purpose is for humans to worship Him. Now, we all know that worship is vague– vague in its description, whether in acts, deeds or words, but main result or end goal is — to give God glory.

Since in the beginning, we are good and pleasant in the eyes of God as we are created in His own image and likeness (Gen 1:27). We are His masterpiece. He was so happy of our creation. It was all very good in His eyesight (Gen 1:31). Well in fact, because he was satisfied –He rested on the seventh day (Gen 2:2).

As we read Genesis, we can see that we are created out of Love, Passion and Determination.  When the “fall of man” came into picture because of disobedience (Gen 3), sin came to destroy our relationship to God — Our “nearness” to God blocked by sin — we are condemned! God’s wrath is upon us. We are dead.

For thousands of years, we are doomed to hell as sin reigned in this fallen world. But because of we are created out of God’s great Love, His faithfulness supersede. He made it possible for us to be lift up from God’s wrath and condemnation.

He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus (John 3:16).

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

John 3:16‭-‬18 NIV

God made it easy and possible for us, to have our relationship to Him back

Because of Jesus’ obedience, we are saved. We are spared from God’s wrath. Only thing we need to do is to “believe” and to have faith in His blood that shed on the cross.

Now, by believing in Him, we will have Eternal Life (John 3:16). This is the Life that we have through CHRIST.

Jesus Christ paid the price that we need to pay. All because of God’s Great Love, Grace is given. For us to have Life through CHRIST!

All glory to God!💖

CHRIST died for SINNERS, like me.

Thanking God for loving me. Thanking God for His Grace. Because of His Grace, His  kindness felt prominently that lead me to repentance. I am so blessed. Knowing the power of the cross take us to redemption. IT IS FINISHED!

CHRIST died for the sinners – like Me.

6-8 Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn’t, and doesn’t, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadn’t been so weak, we wouldn’t have known what to do anyway. We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.

Romans 5:6-8 (MSG)

Because of God’s unmerited favor called – Grace. He gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus to die on the Cross, as the “Sacrificial Lamb” so that we may be redeemed from our doomed in sins.

Jesus died for everyone. However, only those who believe in His blood that shed on the cross through Faith, shall receive righteousness in the eyes of God (Romans 3:22). For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus ( Romans 3:23-24). And it is not  by your works that are credited to it, but by trusting God who justifies the wicked, like me, through the redemption of the blood of Jesus – then we became righteous (Romans 4:4-5)

Now, for those who “believes”  you may now call yourselves — “BLESSED”.  David says  the same thing when he speaks of the “blessedness” of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

Blessed is the one
    whose transgressions are forgiven,
    whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.

Psalm 32:1-2

Thanking God for loving me. Thanking God for His Grace. Because of His Grace, His  kindness felt prominently that lead me to repentance. I am so blessed. Knowing the power of the cross take us to redemption. IT IS FINISHED!

Now, walking in this ground –  Grace,  I have …

  • LIFE
  • SALVATION
  • FREEDOM
  • RIGHTEOUSNESS
  • RECONCILIATION TO GOD
  • FELLOWSHIP TO GOD

I am BLESSED. I am FAVORED. I am ANOINTED.  Because I received the spirit of “SONSHIP’ through the blood of JESUS (Romans 8:15). I can call Him, Abba Father.

Thank You, Jesus. Because of You, I became “Child of God!”

Tears welled up! I can’t contain how blessed I am!!!

I am no longer a slave to sin! I am a Child of God!!

All glory to God!

The Creation

All creation, oblivious to it or not, was designed to manifest and testify the beauty and glory of its Creator.

I refuse to believe that the whole universe was created in a willy-nilly way.

Everything from the smallest subatomic particle to the hypergiant red star;

from the blue sky and colorful rainbow in the sky to the darkest abyss of the oceans;

from the simplest bacteria to the complex human beings;

from the greatest galaxies with millions of moon, planets and stars to our humble planet called earth;

everything was created with extreme detail in an ungraspable wisdom and is sustained with great strength and power.

All creation, oblivious to it or not, was designed to manifest and testify the beauty and glory of its Creator.

Great is Thy Faithfulness

Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me!

Lyrics by: Thomas Chisholm

Music by: William Runyan

Great Is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father!

There is no shadow of turning with Thee;

Though changest not,

Thy compassions, they fail not

As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

Great Is Thy faithfulness,

Great Is Thy faithfulness,

Morning by morning new mercies I see;

All I have needed Thy hand hath provided

Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me!

Summer and winter,

and springtime and harvest,

Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above,

Join with all nature in manifold witness

To Thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love.

Pardon for Sin and a peace that endureth,

Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide,

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow

Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

His Love

God’s love for us is independent from our love for Him.

The abundance of our love for God does not increase His love for us.

The meagerness of our love for God does not decrease His love for us.

God’s love for us is independent from our love for Him.

His love is unchanging.

It is unconditional.

It is everlasting.

This kind of love compels us to love.

We loved Him because He first loved us.

The Power of Praise and Worship

Praise and worship serves as a powerful declaration of who God, the GREAT I AM, is, what Jesus Christ did in us and what He can and will do in our lives through the Holy Spirit!

Praise and worship serves as a powerful declaration of who God, the GREAT I AM, is, what Jesus Christ did in us and what He can and will do in our lives through the Holy Spirit!

With worship we tap into the very power of His presence as His Spirit inhabits our praises.

Healings happen through and during praise and worship physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Filling and renewing of empty hearts and weary spirits take place as we lift and magnify the name of the Lord and dwell into His presence.

Walls are utterly torn down.

Bondages and chains are overcome.

Stoned hearts are broken and made flesh.

Evil and darkness are cast out as our sovereign God is glorified through our lips, tongues, hands, hearts and spirits.

As we see and adore His beauty, He reveals Himself to us in whispers, visions and revelations.

That’s the power of praise and worship.

Call and proclaim the name of the LORD all you people! Lift up a sound of praise unto Him!
